Hi all, I'm just now getting my feet back on the ground. May
was so busy. CleeB and I had just gotten Derrick and Tamara
moved into their first home just a few blocks away from us, when
we moved Mark, his number two son to Lubbock from
Provo. We had another grandbaby the last day of school. My
retirement fell also on that week. Of course I had to move
out of my room at school that I had occupied for 15 years.
Some people don't even live in an apt or house that long. It
was a big chore to close my room. It just was not easy
as I did not want to bring it all home with me. It
was a very fast month. CleeB and I did end our month with a
quick trip to Branson for some R and R. Then we headed back
to Hereford where I helped with the new granddaughter. Now
I'm home keeping another granddaughter while we wait for
another granddaughter to arrive in Aug or late July. We
should know that answer by the end of the week. People want
to know what I'm going to do to keep busy.Has keeping a
baby changed and any easier? They are still work, just more
fun becasuse they go home every night. Right now I need
another job to slow down as I'm still just as busy as
before.. This is my last official school picture
taken at my retirement. This was my dislplay table with
pictures etc from my years of teaching. The faculty did a
wonderful job on the reception. It was lovely and was a nice
way to end the year. I have aged, that's why people retire.
I have gained weight, gotten older, wear glasses, but
the hair color is still mine. It does not come out of a
bottle yet. I wanted to retire before I turned gray. I
made it. Hope all is well with you.
